Physical Acting Summer Intensive (2024)
The Physical Acting Summer Intensive is a comprehensive program where actors have the opportunity to study the Lucid Body, Voice Destructuring & Rasa Aesthetics. This Intensive Program takes place over two weeks, from June 10-21. The program is designed for those who desire an immersive experience for their growth as actors. Actors from out-of-state and/or International actors are encouraged to attend. The Summer Intensive is open to all who desire quality professional actor training experience here in Los Angeles.
The Lucid Body: Immersion (Basics 1 & 2)
The program begins with the Lucid Body Technique, an Intensive Psycho-physical approach to actor training. Through this transformational technique, which is based on the Chakra Energy System, actors develop an awareness of their own physical and emotional habits of expression as well as an in-depth process for moving beyond those habits in their acting. Voice De-Structuring + Rasa Aesthetics (Voice + Rasas)
Voice + Rasas combines two of the most effective techniques that actors seek from KB Studio. The Voice De-structuring work is where actors develop a greater authentic connection to the voice as well as a more truthful connection to the thoughts and feelings of their characters. Often referred to as ‘The Secret’ in the actor's process. The Rasas is a practical and effective technique for actors to bring greater life and vitality to their work in TV & Film, and is often referred to as ‘The Game Changer’.
