Physical Acting Summer Intensive- Los Angeles
The Summer Intensive is an immersive actor training program that focuses on opening the expressive range of the actor. During the 2-week program actors will experience the innovative acting techniques of the Lucid Body, Voice De-structuring/Re-structuring & Rasa Aesthetics. These techniques are designed to support actors who desire to let go of habits that have been limiting them in order to grow and transform their acting. They will be led by Kennedy Brown, a senior teacher of the Lucid Body technique and Fitzmaurice Voicework, with over 25 years teaching in LA as well as well as Internationally.
Week 1: The Lucid Body Immersion
The program begins with the Lucid Body Technique, an Intensive Psycho-physical approach to actor training. This transformational technique, which is based on the Chakra Energy Centers, allows actors to develop an awareness of their own physical and emotional habits of expression. Throughout the week, the actors will explore a process for moving beyond those habits in order to bring greater emotional depth and range to their acting. Week 2: Voice + Rasas
The focus of week two is on the actors learning to integrating their body and voice more fully into scenes and monologues in order to experience their acting on a whole new level. The Voice De-structuring technique is where actors develop a greater authentic connection to their voice as well as a more organic process for owning their text. The Rasas is a freeing and intuitive physical acting process where actors learn to bringing greater vitality and boldness to the choices they make in their acting. Days: Monday-Friday- June 8-12 & June 15-19
Times: Mondays-Thursdays 12-5pm, Fridays 1-6pm

Price: $1400
Limited to 18 Actors
Payment: Payments will be made via direct invoice. Sliding Scale rates are available for those in need. These spaces are limited. Please email KB Studio at assistant@kennedybrown.info to access this offer! Payment Plans are also available. You can choose to pay in 2 or 3 payments maximum. There is a $10 processing fee added to each additional payment. All Refunds are subject to a 2-3% processing fee.
